Winter Wonderland
Icy blue and pure white lights turn your landscape into a sparkling spectacle. Who says you need snow for a winter wonderland?
Serving Harris County
The Heights is all character — historic Victorians, craftsman bungalows, detailed trim along the boulevard — and we light it to honor the architecture, design through takedown.

Holiday Lighting in Houston Heights
Heights homes have details worth showing off — gables, porches, gingerbread trim — and we light to follow them, not hide them. Hand Top Tier the whole project — design, professional installation, in-season service, takedown and storage — for a display that suits a historic home.

Lighting the Heights is a favorite of ours — the historic district's Victorians, the bungalow streets of Norhill and Woodland Heights, the boulevard esplanade. We're a greater-Houston company, and you reach the crew that designs and installs your display directly, never a call center.

We handle the whole season. Design and installation, service through the holidays, then takedown and storage at the end — fully insured and CLIPA certified. Concealed clips and clean runs protect porch trim and original woodwork, with nothing nailed into a historic home.

Your lights are a one-time purchase, not a yearly rental — commercial-grade, faceted C9 LEDs, custom-cut to trace Victorian gables and trim and warrantied three years, for a crisp, even glow that honors a Heights home.
Our Process
You buy the lights once, and we manage the season around them. Here's how a Heights project comes together, with the home's character front and center.
We start at the home — its gables, porch, turrets and trim — and design a display that follows the architecture cleanly, in the style you want.
Our crew custom-cuts each run to fit the trim and rooflines, conceals the clips and cords, sets the timers, and works carefully around original woodwork and porches.
If a bulb fails or a strand slips during the season, we return and correct it at no charge, so the display stays sharp through the holidays and Lights in the Heights.
After the holidays we remove everything and store it labeled to your home, so your garage stays clear and next year is one call.

Over-the-top and proud of it — vibrant colors and enough wattage to be seen from space. Warning: may cause neighborhood envy.

Warm white lights outline your home's best features for a welcoming, timeless glow — traditional holiday charm, Texas style.

Have something else in mind? Share your vision — a Texas-themed display or a palette matched to your home — and we'll bring it to life.
Why Choose Top Tier
Lighting a historic home well takes a careful hand. Heights homeowners stay with us because we're local, experienced with Victorians and bungalows, fully insured, and accountable from first call to final takedown.
We're a greater-Houston company lighting the Heights every season, so we're easy to reach and quick to return when you need us.
More than ten years on inner-loop homes — Victorians and craftsman bungalows included — means detailed trim and historic rooflines are familiar work for our crews.
We carry full insurance and certification from the Christmas Light Installation Professionals Association, so the work on your home meets a recognized, safety-first standard.
One crew designs, installs, services and removes your display, so nothing is subcontracted out and nothing slips through the cracks.

All of it — the Houston Heights Historic District, Woodland Heights, Norhill, Sunset Heights and Germantown, plus Shady Acres and Timbergrove. We also light neighboring River Oaks, Garden Oaks and Montrose.
Pricing is set per home, since a two-story Victorian with detailed trim and a craftsman bungalow are very different installs. It follows the roofline, the trim, the height, any tree wrapping and the look you want — we'll send a detailed, no-obligation quote.
Early. The Heights books out well before Thanksgiving — most installs run from late October through November, and prime dates go first. Reach out in early fall to secure your spot ahead of Lights in the Heights.
It's some of our favorite work. We follow the gables, porches, turrets and gingerbread trim that make Heights homes special, custom-cutting each run so the lights trace the architecture cleanly.
You own them after a one-time purchase of the pro-grade C9s — not a yearly rental. We handle the rest: design, installation, in-season service, takedown and storage, all under a 3-year warranty, so you never climb a ladder or store a tangle of strands.
